The aggressive nose rocker and narrow side cut give the Radito genuine whitewater performance on Class II–III while a long waterline keeps you fast and efficient on flatwater. The flatter tail compensates for the nose rocker, delivering straight-line tracking on calm water and speed through river features — without the trade-off you'd expect between those two modes.
Hala's patented StompBox 2.5 retractable fin stays spring-loaded at full depth — no bounce, no catching on rocks. It deflects automatically on rock contact and springs back before your next stroke for consistent drive and locked-in ferry angles. The Radito has been a great board to paddle out in Nepal, on the high-volume and technical rivers. The Radito combines long board speed, getting me where I need to be on the rapid. With edge and rocker control to make those quick line changes mid-rapid when it counts.
Can't wait to continue to paddle this board in Scotland, it has definitely become one of my favourite boards to paddle.
As far as boards for big whitewater adventures go, the Hala Radito is the golden ticket. Its 10' length lets you hold speed as you drive across the river hunting for the perfect line, while the generous nose rocker not only punches through holes and glides over boils, but also gives you the ability to carve confidently into complex eddies. Awesome board the retractable fin is awesome for not giving the E stop when going over rocks.
We bought this SUP for our 23 year old daughter. She LOVES it! She is 5 ft 1 inches and it is so stable she can stand up and maneuver it by herself. She and I rode down a gently flowing river together and took turns standing up and sitting. It was a blast!
Enjoyed this board on the Intercoastal Waterway in NC. Great performing board with an awesome stomp box 2.0 which glides over shallow areas comfortably. I lost one click fin, so I may tighten those screws for all rides.
I purchased a Atcha last year which is a great board for River white water. However I realized quickly that I needed something more versatile that I could also use on flat water and lakes. Hala’s Customer Service went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. The new Radito a perfect blended board that meets my lifestyle. Can be used in both rivers and lakes.
Yesterday it was lake day with my pup and tomorrow will be SUP yoga and hopefully a river day. With the long pad, great stability and retractable fin it's ready for all kinds of adventures!
I love this board! It is super fun to paddle in all levels of whitewater. It tracks well and keeps its speed up yet is still quite stable. Probably not the best river surfer unless you can find a nice long wave but that's not what it is designed for. I load my dog, daughter, and food for all of us this for lazy Class 2 floats and also paddle Class 4 on it.
I'm not your normal paddleboard owner. I've got a garage with over 5 Hala's now. The Radito fills the gap between my Rado and the Atcha 96. This board is ready for overnighters or just an afterwork paddle. Small and playful enough to take to the river park, but big enough and with enough rocker to handle a multiday trip. Hala makes the best boards out there. I know, I've logged over 1000 river miles on Hala paddleboards.

Hala's customer support is amazing. I was super overwhelmed with all the choices of inflatable SUPs out there. The stompbox technology is what first sold me on going with a Hala board, and then I still had too many choices! Luckily, their customer service folks were happy to recommend a few boards based on what I want to do which is a little of everything: camping trips/flatwater and class II/ III rapids.
I'd love to be in position to rate the Radito I ordered, but it's shipment status is uncertain. I ordered the item 12/12 on your website and received a notification that it had been shipped 12/16. UPS tracking indicates it has been in Aurora, CO since the 20th and no further updates are available. I've not done business with Hala before, but I would expect your Customer Service team to step in a notify the purchaser that you and/or UPS are actively working on it.

Product is solid. I gave three stars because I was disappointed with the sales process. I called in to Hala Gear a few weeks before Labor Day 2023. I said I was interested in purchasing a board, but was wondering if any sales would be going on for Labor Day. The person I spoke with said definitively “no, no sales would be offered on the Radito.” I purchased the board. Of course, then the board gets $200 knocked off on Labor Day weekend. I mostly blame myself for being impatient. Not mad, but disappointed. Hopefully that hurts worse.

This board menuvers very well. I was unsure whether to go with this size or the next larger since the description only said for smaller paddlers and I don’t consider myself small at 5”7” and 165lbs. I am very happy with my choice

Hala is absolutely amazing! Their boards are unreal and handle better than any paddleboard I've ever been on on the water. Not to mention their amazing customer service; I had a leak in my board and they replaced it within a few weeks! I will never buy a board from another company again!

If you were looking for a great all-around board then look no further. This is the one that can do the flats and the Rapids. It’s very stable and I love the stomp box. The retractable fin is gold and I can’t believe somebody else didn’t think about it before because it’s so practical. It’s very light and comes in a great rolling case for taking it on an adventure pretty much anywhere. I absolutely love the Radito!
I love my Radito for its versatility. Is it the best surf SUP? No. Is it the best flat water SUP? No. But it surprisingly good at both while crushing down river.

Stable and lightweight--a great board! I used the board for the past 3 weeks on a lake with my toddler. He loved morning cruises as he could lay down, eat, and move around a bit without tipping us over. The retractable fin and rockered front end made it easy for us to get close enough to shore to keep our feet dry.
Absolutely LOVE my Radito! Although it doesn't handle waves and surf as well as the Atcha, it's great to have a board I can take to the lake as well as the river. Tracks well, turns well. When pumped up to pressure, handles quite impressively. Hala got it right with the retractable fin (STOMPBOX)! Makes running those shallow rapids much more doable, particularly if you change out the green gummy fins for the shallower 1.5" orange fins. I've had no problems after switching out the green fins (lost one on a shallow rapid on Day 2, oops... Yes, it was screwed in). If I was solely going to be running rivers with rapids, I'd probably get an Atcha. But the Radito is a very capable river board as well that I've taken down up to Class 3 whitewater, with the bonus that it handles the flats great. VERY pleased with my Hala SUP.
