The Radito has been a great board to paddle out in Nepal, on the high-volume and technical rivers. The Radito combines long board speed, getting me where I need to be on the rapid. With edge and rocker control to make those quick line changes mid-rapid when it counts.
Can't wait to continue to paddle this board in Scotland, it has definitely become one of my favourite boards to paddle.
As far as boards for big whitewater adventures go, the Hala Radito is the golden ticket. Some say a paddleboard is just a board. Those people are wrong. Tha Hala Straight Up is a partner, a therapist, a friend. This is the first board that has truly understood me. I yell, I flail, I panic… and it stays steady, calm, and reassuring.
If you need to bust through rapids, there’s no rapid the Atcha can’t bust through. It’s a master rapid buster. Wam, bam, thank you Hala! Five stars.

Most SYP's ship with an open water fin. This one works great for river touring where there are shallows to contend with. Adds adequate directional stability for paddling, because a SUP with no fin is essentially unusable!

I initially borrowed a board from my neighbors, who happened to have a Hala board. After paddling on that, I knew I wanted one just like it. It is an amazing board! So easy to maneuver and stand on! Was shipped and received so quickly! 100% satisfied in all aspects!

Heavy, calling it 3 piece is a stretch as the adjustable handle is the 3rd piece.

For consistency with industry standards, we describe the adjustable LeverLock T-grip and upper shaft as the third piece. This lets the paddle stay simple and strong while still offering travel-friendly breakdown and adjustability.

This board brings a new dynamic to whitewater! One of the hardest decisions I have to make before heading to the river is "which board shall I ride today?" This is a mix between the old 8'6 and 9'6 with playful maneuvering and rapid crushing fun!

The new design of the atcha 8 6 is amazing. It is extremely maneuverable, super fun catching eddies and great for surfing. The quality of this board is worth every penny and the stomp box technology makes padding shallow rivers care-free. Nice work Hala!

The new design is SICK!!! The rocker is Ridonculous!!! Way more than any other River SUP I’ve seen. Super stable and incredibly playful. Carves smoothly through eddy lines like a hot knife through butter. Fits on waves that previous 96s did not and makes paddling through big waves effortless. If you’re thinking of upgrading you should!

On my third hose. Pump works great but would love a better material for the hose which breaks very easily.
Hi Haley - it is strange that it keps breaking. If you aren't taking the hose off the pump during transport, doing so should help it avoid breaking. Also, try not to let it get crushed in transport. We hope this one lasts longer for you!

This does not fit my hala pump. It says it fits hala pumps, but does not. I am frustrated because I haven't had a pump for a while and got this so I could go this weekend. Guess not anymore. I'm dissapointed with HALA.
The new design on the Atcha’s is awesome! Coming from being on a Rivershred the last 4 seasons, this new Hala is lighter, more responsive and more stable as you get near the tail. Looking forward to many more river miles on this craft…Thanks Hala!
