Hala Gear builds inflatable paddle boards we're genuinely proud of — and we stand behind every one. If something isn't right, we'll make it right. Here's exactly how.
Returns
Hala accepts returns on all unused items purchased through our website within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, all products must be in new condition with all packaging and tags still intact. Any product that has been used on the water is not eligible for a return.
The customer is responsible for return shipping, and any shipping charges you paid will not be reimbursed.
Exchanges
Free exchanges are also available for unused products within 30 days. We provide free shipping both ways for exchanges within the continental United States.

Your Return Authorization (RA) number is your Order Number. Your Order Number is found both on your packing slip and in the order confirmation email. Please make sure your RA/Order Number is clearly marked on the outside of the returned package. If you send us a return without the number clearly identified, there might be a delay in processing the return.
Once we get your return, we will inspect the product to make sure it is in a resellable condition and issue a refund or ship the exchanged item within 14 days.

Preorder Cancelations
Sometimes delays happen. While we do our best to produce and ship preordered gear on time, occasionally orders will ship after the expected ship date. If your preordered item has not shipped by the estimated date on the day of purchase, you can request a 100% refund.
If you must cancel a preorder before the estimated ship date, a 5% fee will be deducted from your refund to cover our processing costs.
Regular Cancelations
Please call, email, or chat us with your order number ASAP to cancel your order. If it hasn't been processed for shipping yet, we will refund your original payment method. If the order is older than 24 hours, we can not guarantee that it can be canceled. In this case, you are welcome to proceed with our standard return process.

All Hala inflatable paddle boards are covered by our 5-Year Warranty. We warranty our boards against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship — because we build boards we'd paddle ourselves.

Return & Exchange Questions
Can I return a Hala paddle board if I don't love it?Yes — unused boards in original condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery. The board must be in new, unused condition with original packaging. If you used it on the water and it's not the right fit, email us at sup@halagear.com and we'll see what options we have.
Is the exchange really free both ways?Yes — for exchanges within the continental United States, Hala covers return shipping and shipping on the replacement board. Email sup@halagear.com with your order number and the board you'd like instead.
What does the Hala 5-Year Warranty cover?Hala boards are covered by our 5-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This covers delamination, seam failures, valve defects, and other build-quality issues — not normal wear, UV degradation, or damage from misuse.
How do I know which Hala board to order so I don't need to return it?Our Board Quiz matches you to the right board in about 2 minutes based on your weight, skill level, and the water you paddle. Most people who use the quiz buy with confidence the first time. You can also call or email us — our team paddles these boards and will be honest about which one fits your needs.
How long does a Hala refund take to process?Once we receive your return and verify it's in resellable condition, we issue your refund within 14 days. Most refunds process faster. You'll get a confirmation email when the refund is issued; your bank may take a few additional business days to reflect it.
