Hala Hoss

Sale price$999.00
(4.8)

The Ultimate Large All-Around Inflatable Paddle Board. Big, bold, and built to perform, the Hoss is the ultimate blend of stability, versatility, and genuine fun. Whether you're cruising a lake, running Class III rapids, or just looking for a board that delivers at every level, the Hoss has you covered.

With a streamlined shape and a generous 35" width, the Hoss stays steady and easy to paddle. But don't let the width fool you - tapered edges, reduced nose and tail volume, and a river-inspired rocker give it real performance and real playfulness. That rocker handles up to Class III rapids with a quick fin swap, but it's also what makes the Hoss a blast on flatwater: pop the nose, spin on the tail, or take it out on a mellow ocean swell. Most all-around boards just go straight. The Hoss plays. Learn more about our full fin lineup and board construction and technology.

The Hoss is also a great platform for SUP fishing - its wide, stable deck and ample tie-down points make it easy to rig with gear, a cooler, and a rod holder. Read our SUP fishing guide.

A board that performs at every level and grows with your skills. Want something nimbler? Check out its smaller sibling, the Straight Up. Looking for a river-focused build? See the Rado. Browse all Hala boards.

Cruise Series: Hoss or Straight Up?

Both are Cruise Series all-around boards built for lakes, rivers, and everything in between. The Hoss is the wider, steadier option: 10'10" long and 35" wide, with a generous platform that stays stable across a wide range of conditions. The Straight Up is shorter (10' x 33") and nimbler, with the same capability in a more responsive, athletic shape.

The Hoss is ideal for those who want the widest, most stable platform. The Straight Up suits paddlers who want a sportier, quicker feel while keeping the same go-anywhere capability.

Compatible Fins for the Hoss

The Hoss uses a standard Air7 center fin box. The included 9" Race Center Fin is optimized for flatwater speed and tracking. Swap it depending on where you're paddling:

  • 9" Race Center Fin (included): flatwater and open water tracking at speed
  • 8" Flex Center Fin: lake touring and mild ocean conditions
  • 4.5" Gummy Center Fin: shallow rivers and low-water runs. Flexible rubber deflects off rocks.
  • 3" Stubby Gummy Center Fin: the shallowest option for rocky, low water.

All center fins install with a thumb screw. No tools needed.
