Hala Atcha 96
The Original Inflatable Whitewater SUP. Since 2013, the Atcha 96's 9'6" × 36" shape has been the industry benchmark for Class II–IV rivers — the template every competitor eventually adopted, built through 50+ prototypes. Independent reviewers now call it "quite possibly the pinnacle of design for intense whitewater paddling" (Inflatable Boarder, 2025).
The 2025 version is the sharpest yet. Refined rocker climbs high over wave trains and holes, a redesigned pointed nose punches through steep faces instead of slamming into them, and full-board rocker delivers surfability without sacrificing speed.
Hala's patented StompBox 2.5 retractable fin stays spring-loaded at full depth — no bounce, no catching on rocks. It deflects automatically and springs back before your next stroke, giving you consistent drive, locked-in ferry angles, and real surf hold on a wave. Two removable 4.5" gummy side-bite click fins are included. Rated for 325+ lbs of paddler and gear. Fin options and board comparisons are detailed below.
🏄 Fin System & Upgrade Options
