Product Description

The shorter version of the Hala Rado, the Hala Radito is ideal for smaller riders or people excited to play in tighter pockets. A new design gives you an insanely burly expedition board with the capability of all-around use while still maintaining the river maneuverability and playfulness similar to our Atcha.

The Radito comes standard with a Stompbox™ retractable fin and four fixed, unbreakable, low-profile, side fins for low draft, high-performance tracking. 10 rigging points, 6 of which are soft and centralized plus 4 additional side ones let you rig up all your gear. And the full rocker combined with the board length is designed to support the gear load while still punching holes descending whitewater.

Our classic Core Construction™ makes this board rugged and the dynamic shape allows for crossover to all adventures.

Board Tech Details – We’re obsessed to deliver the best!

Full Rocker
The Radito takes our tip-to-tail full rocker to a longer, expedition platform allowing you load up and set out on expeditions with enhanced speed and tracking while then crossing over into all-around use. Punch big holes, surf pockets, and enjoy expeditions with the family. Learn more about Hala’s rockers.
Core Construction™
These board can take a serious beating and you can keep on cruising with our burly Double-Layer Drop Stitch material. How do we make our boards so rugged? A second layer of thick, liquid PVC is poured over the raw drop stitch material for the best abrasion resistance available. Burly material for a burly board on your burly adventure. Learn more about Hala’s board construction.

Dynamic Shape
Makes it burly for expeditions and yet sleek maneuverable. This board is great to crossover as an all-around board. Learn more about Hala’s outlines.

Gives you two balance points in the tail, instead of one, so the board resists tipping. It gives a bit of more bite to your turns while surfing from the back. Learn more about Hala’s shapes.

Patent Pending Stompbox™ Retractable Fin
The fin retracts into the board upon contact with unanticipated rocks for an undisturbed run, allowing you to paddle the shallowest rivers and creekiest lines, year round. No more supermanning off your board!  See the Stompbox™ in action here.

4 Fixed, Unbreakable, Low-Profile Side Fins
These 3” fixed fins make shallow water more accessible and create low draft, high-performance tracking. Indestructible and designed for rugged terrain and unmistakable durability.

10 Soft Rigging Points
6 Soft Rigging points give you the option to rig up light loads up front and heavier ones on the deck pad. With our centralized rigging points, you don’t have to compromise performance.
4 Additional Soft Side Points near the back give you the support of our triple reinforced D-Rings without the knuckle busting. So you can bring all your gear with you wherever you go.

D-Ring Rigging Point Under The Nose
Tow your board from the D-Ring rigging point located under the nose. This pushes the force and weight up to make towing easier and faster.

Leash D-Ring
A triple-reinforced D-ring is located on the back of the board to attach your leash onto. But remember, using a leash properly requires knowledge and attention.

Two Soft Side Handles
For additional riders to hold onto and makes it easier to get on and off the board.

One Front and One Back Rubber Handles
Carry this board easily with the help of a friend to and from the water while all your gear stays secured.

Foot index
Located just before the stomp pad is raised EVA on your deck pad. It is a small, centralized rectangle so you can easily step your foot back to the center of the board without ever taking your eyes off the water.

Stomp Pad
A 1.5” stomp pad allows for precise control and maneuverability of your board.
Travel-Ready Board
A board that can go anywhere, this board packs up and rolls out with you. Combined with any of our travel paddles, you’ll have the ultimate, portable setup for adventure.

3-Year Warranty

This is a new board for me and we just got to try it on Browns Canyon. First, I would like to say that this is the coolest looking board with a Colorado feel. This board tracks like it’s on rails so you better know where you want to go! It is very fast with the length being 10 feet long. A couple of things that I found ingenious are the new webbing D-rings and side handles. I found that after taking a swim that getting back on board was so much faster and easier. This is also safer for my face and hands. Kudos Hala! This Radito screams overnights, longer whitewater trips, and high water flows. The unbreakable fin set up with the Stompbox is a winning combo. The full rocker allows you to crush wave trains without bonking into them and the swallow tail allows for greater turning ability. With 36″ wide, I found the stability to be right on point. I would recommend this board for anyone trying out rivers for their first time because of the length for more fancy footwork. I look forward to letting the journey begin with this board!

The new Radito is a down river beast. Playful enough to get around rocks in low water but burly enough to charge through bigger waves and cruises through the flats. Its a fast whitewater board that tracks very well but has some great maneuverability at 10ft. long. I can’t wait to toss some dry bags on and head down river.

The Hala Radito is my new go to board for all aspects of white water. I am a bigger guy and have a blast on the Hala Atcha but the 10ft length on this board gives more balance and control. I also really like the width of the Radito. Being a bit skinnier it’s easier to get speed in the flats and in the white water! I am very impressed with this board and can’t wait to see where it brings the sport. This board is made for big water and big drops at only 6 inches longer than the Atcha it is perfect when the Atcha starts to feel small in whitewater. Definitely a game changer for the WWSUP sport!

A whitewater adaptation of the long time Paddler favorite Straight Up! The colors and design pop, and scream “Colorado!”. This may be one of the best thought out and executed board designs the industry has ever seen. At 10’x34″ it successfully treads the thin line between responsiveness, stability and speed. Being a big fan of the rail to rail response of the Atcha 86, I am pumped and at home on the Radito because it shares the same width. With it’s 10′ length and full rocker profile this board brings insane versatility to the table. Whitewater? Yup. Distance paddling? Yup. Self-SUPport? You betcha! I’ve even caught natural river waves on the fly with this board. The newly designed low profile indestructible fins stay off the rocks in shallow situations and handle a beating if you give them one. Paired with the revolutionary Stompbox you’ve got the tracking to stick your line and the forgiveness if you don’t. If you’re a river paddler that only has room for one board in your life, the Rado or Radito should be your choice.

The Hala Radito has become one of my favorite everyday boards to hit the river. I love the speed of board through the rapids. At 10×34 you don’t have to worry about running those big rivers with long pools in between that become very tiring on a 9-6 or 8-6 board. I recently took the Radito down the New River Gorge for the first time and it handled great in big rapids, holes, and crazy side crashing wave trains. I also use the Radito and Rado when I teach WWSUP lessons. Both boards provide a stable platform for beginners looking to gain skill and confidence on the river.

The Radito is my All-Around Beast. As a family man, I can take my kids out on the flatwater or on slow-moving rivers with ease (Add the new 9″ StompFin for an even better paddling experience). Surfing in Hawaii? Yes! On the whitewater, it can handle anything. The Radito has a length of 10′ and a width of 34″ to keep you nice and stable. My wife can even take it out for a Yoga session. It truly is an All-Around Board for the whole family. Also love the webbing handles and d-rings. Lot’s you can tie down.

All I can say about the Radito is WOW! It’s an awesome downriver board. This board is great from Class 1 recreational paddling to the big white water runs. It has a great balance between play & efficiency. Stable enough to run whitewater without your legs giving out & fast enough to catch all the eddies you want to going down. I was really concerned about the fins being fixed on the board & not being able to interchange them. I’ll admit, it was not something I was looking for, until now. The fins are exactly the right length to run rivers & for catching eddies. Now I love it after using it for a while. It is my one-piece board. This makes the board feel same board every time it hits the water. I think of this board as a one-piece board, just like a one-piece paddle.

Love this board, I have 2 other Hala boards the Nass and Daze. This board is a great cross between the two others! It’s handles great and is fairly fast, easy for beginners or smaller paddlers. My favorite feature is the retractable fin system being the majority of my trips are on shallow rivers with rocky bottoms. All my paddle buddy’s who are advanced paddlers love this board as well!
I would recommend it to anyone but especially new or smaller people who are working on upper body strengthening! Hope this helps and enjoy

  9. 5 out of 5

This board it perfect for paddlers who want stability but don’t want to compromise on speed. The shape slides into eddies with ease, easily stomps through waves, and shreds surf just as well as specialty surf boards. It’s an awesome option for all around whitewater for smaller paddlers who still want to . The bright colors and streamline design are another eye catching positive of a great board that all of my friends want to try it out.

I love this board! It is by far my favorite board that I have ever paddled. It is really responsive and I feel like I have great control when paddling either on flat water or down the river. I got this board after the spring peak flows and the rivers in my area have been exceptionally low during the drought, so I’ve spent most of my time on small ponds and reservoirs near my home but I defnitely enjoyed the couple of river floats I got to run. I also teach SUP yoga and have used this board many times for class. I feel just as stable on this board as I do on other yoga-specific boards and I love the material of the deck. All those handles are great for pulling myself up after I fall in too! I plan on using this board for some upcoming overnight trips so I am stoked on all of the extra rigging points too. I have way too many hobbies and interests on the water and I love that this board can keep up with whatever I want to do that day, whether it be doing some headstands and down dogs, surfing in the river or cruising on early morning glass. The quality of the construction of this board is very apparent and even the bag it comes in is really nice. It is a solid board all around!

I love this board! SUP-self support on class I-III rivers is my jam, and at 5’4″ and 140 this board is my tool. Love the rigging points, love the rocker, love the stiffness, love the float… I feel super stable through rapid when loaded with dry bags and can pull in and out of eddies. Solid fun. Great design!

Amazing Board. Perfect for the river. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance of this board. It kicks all other boards (brands) out of the game.
