Cruise Series
The Cruise Series is Hala's flatwater lineup - boards shaped for performance on lakes, oceans, bays, and calm rivers. If your sessions are about covering ground, morning stillness on the water, fitness training, or getting out without chasing rapids, you're in the right place. Both boards also handle Class I-III river sections with a simple fin swap - the same river-inspired rocker that makes them stable in chop makes them forgiving in moving water.
Hala Hoss: The All-Around Workhorse
The Hoss is wide, stable, and confident on any water. It's the board you grab when you don't know what the day holds - a lake paddle one morning, a bay run the next, a mellow river float on the weekend. Beginners find their footing quickly; experienced paddlers come back to it for casual days and group paddles. It handles chop, swell, and flatwater with equal ease, and takes on Class I-III rapids with a shorter fin. Includes the LeverLock Adjustable Travel Paddle.
Hala Straight Up: Built for Distance
The Straight Up is Hala's touring board. Longer and narrower than the Hoss, optimized for efficiency and speed over long distances. Coastlines, lake crossings, and fitness paddles are where it shines. Like the Hoss, a quick fin swap makes it river-ready for Class I-III water. Also includes the LeverLock Adjustable Travel Paddle.
