Hala Gear has been building inflatable whitewater SUPs longer than any other brand. More than 50 prototypes and years of obsessive river testing produced the Atcha, the 9’6” shape the entire category eventually adopted. In 2015, Hala patented the StompBox retractable fin and solved the sport’s central problem: fins that catch rocks and stop boards dead in rapids.
