The Charge Series is built for one thing: technical whitewater. Both boards are shaped around high-rocker performance profiles, surf-inspired outlines, and the patented StompBox fin system. Other retractable fins rely on gravity and a mechanism that leaves the fin resting rather than locked down — in current, that means the fin bounces and shudders rather than holds, costing you tracking and control. The StompBox is different: active downward pressure keeps the fin fully deployed at all times. Deflect off a rock, springs back instantly — full engagement, full control. More drive, less correction, better ferrying and surfing.
Atcha 96: Stability, Versatility, and Surf — At 9'6" with more volume, the Atcha 96 is the most versatile board in the series and the board of choice for big-water runs. Forgiving enough for paddlers making the jump from flatwater, powerful enough for charging serious lines, and just-right rocker to surf everything on the river. Most paddlers new to river SUP start here and never look back.
Atcha 86: Surf, Stomp, and Play — The Atcha 86 is shorter, lower-volume, and built for paddlers who want quick and precise control in tight lines, river holes, and surf waves. It responds faster and carves harder than the 96. The trade-off: it rewards technique. If you're already comfortable with moving water and want to push and be playful with your riding, the 86 is your board.

Small tweaks have been made to the shape while maintaining the same confidence inspiring feel of the legendary Atcha legacy. A sharper nose improves drive through features. A new streamlined shape in the tip and tail increases sportiness and speed. Lastly, a more progressive rocker that breaks under the feet makes for a smooth ride through rapids.

The StompBox provides excellent tracking and safety on the river. Float right over any obstacle, knowing that your center fin won't hold you up. With a newly designed spring fin system, the StompBox 2.5 will retract and snap the fin back into place quicker than ever for maximum tracking
performance. The StompBox can be easily removed for repair or transport.
