The Hala Gear Playa Tour is a high-performance inflatable touring SUP and surfboard. The nimble design gives this board speed and maneuverability, making it perfect for surfing ocean waves, touring, and racing. The versatile Playa Tour Ex is made to shred a secluded break or pack a lunch for a day-long adventure.

The black strip is our new Tour Ex Material. An evolution of our carbon design, the Tour Ex material makes our boards more rigid than any other inflatable on the market. The added stiffness provides more glide, precision, and speed than a typical PVC inflatable.

      The board that does it all!

      I recently got back from a trip to Punt de Mita, Mexico. I stay on the El Faro beach, which is home to Stinky’s surf break. The El Anclote break is on the other side of the marina and La Lancha is about a mile or so away. I surfed all 3 of these breaks daily and paddled from break to break on the Playa. The first thing I noticed was its ability to climb choppy waves with ease while paddling out. When surfing tail drops in the wave much a rigid board and surf like the other inflatable board on the market. Finally I dealt with a variety of different conditions when paddling from break to break. From chop, side currents, to strong headwind. The glide and stability in adverse conditions really makes it one of a kind. Back home in Colorado I’ve taken out on the Upper Colorado River. It was super fast and a ton of fun.
