Deep Water Class 3 whitewater such as the Wenatchee in Washington. The Mckenzie River in Oregon and the White Salmon are top on my list of faves.

When I finally was able to confidently stand through the Notch at Big Eddy on the Deschutes after about 100 attempts. My most valued experiences recently are celebrating the stoke with other paddlers.

What do you do when you are not on a SUP?

I edit videos about SUP.

Chase the warmth and light.

Look for signs and symbols of love.

And do my best to avoid negative people and purists.

Extra Sentiments From Paul

Hala has believed in me since 2013 when I began my adventure as an adventure SUP paddler and content creator. Back then I was the "duffle bag paddle boarder" looking to broaden the perspective of what SUP can be by doing multi-day SUP-support trips on a board. Today I travel representing Hala and documenting the experience along the way, highlighting the unique quality of Hala gear in amazing places with inspiring people.

As of 2023, I have SUP paddled more than 130 rivers, and have travelled throughout the US, Canada, Baja, Costa Rica, Panama, Chile, Europe, Japan, and New Zealand with paddle boards.
