Tell us a little bit about yourself

I stepped onto my first Stand-Up Paddleboard in 2014 and SUP has been a major part of my life ever since. I can be found just about every weekend out on the water in Southern California surfing, touring, and racing. Being a competitive person, it was not long before racing became a major SUP activity for me. I competed in my first race, the 7th Annual Gerry Lopez Battle of the Paddle, after only about 3 months on a board and instantly fell in love with the SUP racing community. The supportive and welcoming environment that can be found at events is unlike anything previously experienced. I have been racing ever since, tackling large events like the Salt Life Pacific Paddle Games, small local events, and everything in between. I am always ready for a challenge.

I am extremely excited to join Hala this year as a Team Rider and contribute to the goal of making inflatable SUPs the future of the sport. I would like to see the expansion of inflatable SUP use in ocean racing events and am honored to partner with Hala to show how much fun racing can be on a quality inflatable. Racing for Hala will allow me to share my passion for racing with others while representing a company that shares my values. This year I am looking forward to crossing the SIC Gorge Challenge off my race bucket list. Held in Hood River Oregon, it is one of the biggest events on the SUP Racing calendar each year and has been on my list for a long time.
