Has metal threads will be be better than the plastic threads that broke on my old gauge.

This is the second pump gauge I have tried and it doesn't work. Don't know what to do at this point, go through the process of returning it or save the trouble and just deal with it and guess PSI. Seems like might just need to make a better pump and gauge with it that works.
