Non Carbon Construction™
All of our Tour EX™ SUPs are made with patented non-carbon Stringers and a one-of-a-kind layup. Our featherweight stiffening stringer technology and dual, thick, high-modulus material adds extreme rigidity and provides you the speediest glide you'll ever ride.
More rigidity means Hala SUPs won't lose momentum or bend in the middle of the board (deflection). In fact, our non-carbon Tour EX SUPs resist deflection up to 300% compared to a PVC, non-reinforced SUP.
In other words, the Tour EX boards are as rigid and high performing as a hard board, while maintaining the convenience and durability of an inflatable for EXtra Glide, EXtra stability, and EXtra miles.

Thick Fusion Construction™
We use a Fusion construction and the most innovative material for a lighter and more durable board. Hala SUPs use our new unparalleled stacking + bonding process, to create a tougher board that lasts longer and is more sustainable for the planet and your wallet.
THICK FUSION CONSTRUCTION is our high-end, multi-coated Fusion Drop Stitch, that makes our river boards lighter and just as durable. Each board is constructed to withstand drops, rocks, and roof racks.
Our thicker, more robust fusion creates abrasion-resistant boards that can withstand any environment. We were able to use less material by utilizing a new manufacturing technology that lends itself to lightweight and highly durable boards.

Third Seal Bonds
Hala Gear glues and welds the seams on every SUP board. Glue alone will deteriorate over time, so we added a third WELDED SEAM. Welding, a mechanical type of bonding, provides longevity and durability that stands the test of time and temperature for years. You can trust your Hala Gear SUP, because we don't cut corners on any aspect of the board.
Woven Dropstich
Making a Hala Gear SUP even more rigid without increasing weight, was a tough challenge, but with our Tour EX material, we've found the perfect combination of rigidity and weight. With Hala Gear Tour EX above and below the core, we already had the most rigid inflatable SUP on the market. By adding our premium woven dropstitch core material we further increased rigidity while decreasing weight.

DoubleStack™ Construction
DoubleStack™ construction means we put 2" rail on an inflatable board, which makes our inflatables perform like a hard surfboards. A 2" rail combined with the durability and roll-ability of an inflatable SUP make our board the ultimate package.
