Mo Hanna is a long-time resident of Telluride, a picturesque town in southwestern Colorado, where she has lived for over three decades. She is a humanities teacher at Telluride Middle School and has been teaching in the district for over 12 years. She has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the various recreational activities that the area offers. Hanna is an avid skier and takes full advantage of the world-renowned ski slopes located just minutes from her doorstep. Additionally, she enjoys ice hockey and mountain biking, but her happy place is when she is on a stand-up paddle board during the warmer months.
Mo Hanna's love for stand-up paddle boarding extends beyond the mighty San Miguel River of Telluride. She finds joy in navigating the whitewater around the Four Corners region, and in the spring and fall enjoys running the Daily in Moab. Her favorite board in her quiver is her Atcha 9'6", which she has used to tackle the challenging waters of the Grand Canyon and Middle Fork of the Salmon. Hanna finds that paddleboarding in whitewater is not only thrilling, but also a great workout and a way to connect with nature. Hanna is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to improve her skills on the water.
