Works great to keep you tracking in a straight line. Is a must for going upriver as it allows you to paddle on one side while still maintaining your course.

Not for racing

Looks like a race fin but is way too flexible. Like you could bend it in half and it would be fine. Could be a great beginner or shallow water fin. Great quality, just too flexy. I had to put a piece of tape on the end to make it tight in the box or it wiggled.

Great fin in current

If you’re in the ocean with a lot of current, this fin makes your board track perfectly.

Really seems to help in cross wind.

Great addition

I bought the 9” fin, so I had a longer center fin for flatwater days. Easy add-on that improved my board’s tracking.

Love the 9" race fin!

Loved the long fin! It really helped me navigate the massive eddy lines in the Grand Canyon. Thanks to everyone on the team who helped me figure out what I needed.

I'm new to Paddle Boarding

I'm new to Paddle Boarding and recently purchased a Rival Hoss. A buddy who's more seasoned suggested that I get a longer fin for flat water. The race fin might not look too much different than the stock fin, but I was shocked with how much straighter it kept my board. It really helps a newbie like me get more strokes on one side before having to switch to the other, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. If the distance from Point A to Point B is long and straight, then do yourself a favor and grab the 9" Race Fin.
