Is your H3 Valve not working properly? This valve can replace the valve on your Hala SUP.

Make sure to use yiour valve tool to tichten the new valve well. You may need to press the valve onto the (soft) ground below the board to help the keep internal valve housing fromm spinning so you can get the valve very tight.

Rest the palm of your hand on the valve tool to ensure that the tool is twisting uniformly and won't break from angling the toll improperly.

Hey Hala wants to know what I think

Well first and foremost I think these valves are less than adequate. So easy to make this valve nipple outta metal, carbon etc. so it doesn’t break then empty your board and leave you stranded or worse somewhere. Shit my bike tube has a more robust valve. Step it up Hala.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts — we completely understand your frustration. A valve failure is a rare but real inconvenience, and we’re sorry it happened to you.

To answer your question about materials: nearly all inflatable SUPs, including ours, use the H3 valve, which is built from a high-strength plastic. It’s the most reliable option currently available that resists corrosion, seals airtight under pressure, and stays compatible with standard pumps. Metal sounds tougher in theory, but in practice it corrodes easily in water and salt exposure — especially around threading and seals — which actually leads to more problems long-term.

As for carbon, that’s a material we love, but there currently aren’t any proven, commercially viable carbon valve systems out there. If one existed, we’d be very interested — but for now, we use the most durable, time-tested valve option available.

My sup valve pin was no longer working I contacted the customer service at Hala to see if it was possible to have it fixed. I was so excited to find out I could purchase a replacement sup valve. They were so awesome and sent me videos how to replace the valve myself. I received the part in the mail in three days. Excellent customer service, back on the water in no time!
