Tell us a little bit about yourself

John Blackshire is a long time river lover. With three decades of experience on whitewater he has a natural passion for water. As a kid he was into skateboarding and that playful style has carried over into his whitewater paddleboarding. You can frequently find him splatting and spinning his way down rapids in Colorado. His favorite board is the Hala Atch 711 because of its sportiness.

He started the Colorado Stand Up Paddleboard Club in Denver. The Colorado SUP Club frequently hosts get togethers and group paddles on rivers and lakes across the state. Make sure to come say hello to him if he pops up at one of your local events as he is known to travel around the country and world for events and paddling trips.
