Tell us a little bit about yourself

I'm a South Florida native who grew up in a family that fostered being a playful adventurer, outdoor enthusiast, and lover of water. I planted roots in Colorado over a decade ago in search of cultivating a lifestyle focused on balancing personal growth and experience with professional opportunities after graduate school. I quickly immersed myself in the vast landscapes and harnessed opportunities for new adventure presented by those I came across. I began backpacking to alpine lakes, climbing 14ers, cycling over mountain passes, and paddle rafting rivers with friends I met along the way.

I was introduced to whitewater paddleboarding in passing, but it wasn't until after the pandemic started in March 2020 that I bought my Radito and started paddling whitewater. At the time, I didn't know anyone who was active in the sport, but it wasn't long before my newfound addiction connected me with a wonderfully supportive, encouraging, fun community of close friends that pushed me toward some of my greatest personal growth in life, by way of having some of the most mentally humbling and physically challenging experiences I've ever had. Being on the river is my metaphor for life. It winds its way around, over, and through obstacles. It is mighty and powerful. It is ever changing and impacts all it touches. Being on the river and paddleboarding focuses me, keeps a smile on my face, and makes me a better person.
