Board Tech Details – We’re obsessed to deliver the best!

Full Rocker
The tip-to-tail full rocker pulls the nose out of the water while surfing, so the first point of contact occurs at the dip in the rail making this board the surfiest, most responsive inflatable freestyle river surfboard. Stability, balance, and speed makes this 7’ board that carves like a 5 footer. Learn more about Hala’s rockers

Core Construction™
These board can take a serious beating and you can keep on cruising with our burly Double-Layer Drop Stitch material. How do we make our boards so rugged? A second layer of thick, liquid PVC is poured over the raw drop stitch material for the best abrasion resistance available. Burly material for a burly board on your burly adventure. Learn more about Hala’s board construction.

Nut Shape
The dip in the outline along the side of the board makes the first point of contact with the water closer to you. This gives you the ability to ollie this little surfer and increases maneuverability for a quick, responsive, fun ride. Learn more about Hala’s board Outlines.

Smaller Board Size
Fit into the smallest surf pockets better than any other surfer while still having the capability and stability to support the +230lb rider. Learn more about Hala’s board sizes.

4.75” Low Volume Rails
With the slimmest rails, you can dig into the wave and ride the rail all the way down your line while maintaining extreme stiffness and rigidity.

Swallowtail
Gives you two balance points in the tail, instead of one, so the board resists tipping. It gives a bit of more bite to your turns while surfing from the back. Learn more about Hala’s Shapes.

7 Footer Surfs Like a 5 Footer
The combo of the Full Rocker along with our creative hourglass shape provides the perfect combo of technology to make this 7’ inflatable board surf like a 5’ surfboard.

Leash D-Ring
A triple-reinforced D-ring is located on the back of the board to attach your leash onto. But remember, using a leash properly requires knowledge and attention.
Foot index
Located just before the stomp pad is raised EVA on your deck pad. It is a small, centralized rectangle so you can easily step your foot back to the center of the board without ever taking your eyes off the water.

    :

This little river surfer is by FAR the best inflatable surfboard on the market. At 6’11” with a wickedly rockered nose you can surf steep pockets and holes as well as big glassy waves. The nut shaped outline lets it maneuver unlike anything else and the 4.75″ rail actually engages like a proper surfboard should (as opposed to the traditional 6″ thick inflatables). The five FCS compatible fin boxes allow you to make the board as loose or stable as you like, giving you room to grow into a better surfer. Also it’s super light weight, packable and built out of the burliest materials available for the river, don’t be afraid to be hard on this board. I’ve never been a fan of inflatable surf boards but this little guy changed my mind.

  2. 5 out of 5

    :

Absolutely the closest feeling inflatable to a hard board that I’ve ever surfed. This thing carves excellent and holds the pocket really well too. I felt the closest to surfing I’ve ever felt on a river not on an actual hard surfboard. The nose rocker is plenty sufficient and the slightly irregular shape tends to lend to it’s ability to carve up a wave. Very stable too for the 4.75 thickness. Love this board more than any inflatable as far as actually feeling like you’re surfing. 5 stars and more on a job that well exceeded any expectations.

    :

Ripping! A total gamechanger for inflatable surfing. The nut shape is insanely playful and the lower rails allow engaging turns with a proper carve instead of tail swiveling. This board loves to surf. I was able to take it in and out of the pocket surfing back and forth wherever I wanted. I easily had some of the longest and most fun surfs I’ve ever had on this board! With crazy rocker I found I could relax and play with my center of gravity floating up and down the wave with micro- movements. A total shredder!

Yes, please. What a great steep wave park & play ISUP surfer. It is my go-to for the Bend ww park green wave.
