Tell us about your favorite paddling experience.

I'm a rafter at heart, but I still have plenty of killer SUP experiences I could mention. My favorites include paddling my dog through C-Hole successfully on our first try, tandem surfing rigged up Raditos on a multi-day in Utah, and greasing some grade 6s in Grand Canyon on my 711!

What do you do when you are not on a SUP? 

Row rafts, kayak, camp, ski, hang with my dog, play games, drink beer, get crafty...

Bonus Thoughts From Julia

When I started guiding rafts in Maine in 2016, I had no idea that the best college job ever would be the start of a career in the outdoor industry out in Colorado. My family still isn't convinced that I actually earn a living talking about whitewater for 40 hours a week. Alas, it feels fantastic to be "living the dream" with such a wonderful bunch of coworkers in such a beautiful corner of a kicka$$ state!

At the end of the day (and workweek), I am so grateful to be an integral part of a company that truly values a healthy work/life balance and respects and takes care of its employees. I never thought I'd be encouraged to stop working and go rip up a powder day or take 20+ day river trips! This is what life's all about.
