Tell us a little bit about yourself

I began my stand up paddling journey back in 2009 and fell in love with it right away. I rushed out and purchased my first board and was immediately hooked. From there I began collecting several SUPs until I left the corporate world in the summer of 2013. I was lucky enough to have several SUPs at the time and began taking friends and groups out paddling with me and I haven't paddled back since.

Today I operate Chattanooga Paddleboards, a small "delivered to you" paddlesports rental business. About 4 years ago we made the switch to inflatable paddle boards as the composite boards were getting too much to maintain and move around all on my own. Technology has come a long way and I'm proud to be on the Hala Team as they represent some of the best inflatable boards available on the market today!

Join me on my second year of my 1,000 day paddling journey. This year not only do I endeavor to paddle at least 2 kilometers every single day, but also to paddle approximately 2,000 total miles for the year, and to paddle one long paddle each week equal to the week number (week 1 will be 1 mile, week 2 will be 2 miles, and so on until week 52). I have LOTS of input on paddling in adverse conditions, new locations, and all the gear and equipment you might need. I'm always happy to stop and chat before, during, and after a paddle. I look forward to seeing you out on the water!
