Why I love to SUP and how I discovered it…
I come from a long distance hiking, sea kayaking, and backcountry ski background. When I discovered I could do overnight trips on a paddle board I was hooked. Living in Oregon, multi-day SUP means paddling on rivers. So, it is through paddle boarding that I discovered rivers.

The body of water you’ll most likely find me on…
The Deschutes River.

Which boards I’m riding? Which one is my favorite? …
Atcha 96 for whitewater, Fame or Daze for multi-day river trips. The 14′ Nass was my idea after paddling 300 miles in Baja. The open water touring boards are amazing.

My next dream paddling adventure is…
As I write this I am on a paddling expedition in Patagonia. Dreams being checked off. New Zealand, Turkey, a return to Japan….

What I do when I am not paddling?
Hanging in Bend. Flying my drone. Photography.
